Year 6 Planning
 
This is a slightly unusual half term as Year 6 prepare for their next stage of learning with Mrs Johnson.
 
Key focuses are-
  1. Finishing reading 'Wonder' with class discussion and related writing/reading/spelling activities.
  2. Transition to secondary school preparation work.
  3. Grow a pound fundraising challenge with related math's scenarios tasks and activities.
  4. Leavers assembly organising and preparation, including writing poems, designing posters and tickets and rehearsing songs.
  5. Working on the play 'Cinderella and Rockerella'.  Understanding drama techniques, rehearsing lines, designing costumes, props, set design and learning songs with actions. 
  6. Understanding Bubbles safety framework and how to protect themselves and others.
