Choir at Castle Hill

On Wednesday the choir went back to Castle Hill care home to sing their Cornish songs to the residents.

The residents were really excited to welcome them back and they loved joining in with the traditional Cornish Songs and were really impressed with their singing in the Cornish language.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for the choir.

One women said "I've heard many people sing in Welsh, but only a very few sing in Kernewek. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves for valuing your cultural heritage by continuing the use of the Cornish language"
